Himalaya Herbals

After I finished using my Bio-Essence Super-Spot Removal, I wanted to re-stock at Guardian (@Boulevard). Guardian ran out of stock, so I had to get an alternative. I saw products from Himalaya Herbals that looked convincing.

Thinking back, I wouldn't spend so much on skin care products last time. =)

Anyway, I bought:
1. Himalaya Foam Facial Wash RM24.90
2. Himalaya A&P Cream RM24.90
3. Himalaya Face Wash Neem Pack RM24.90
4. Himalaya Deep Cleansing Astringent Lotion RM24.90
Total = RM99.60

Damn~

A Busy Semester

Hi Guys,

Last I checked, my last blog post was on May 6th. It has been that long. The bad Internet connection did not help much. I had to patronise bing! and Starbucks most of the time to do my stuff.

My RSS results are coming out next month. I'm really nervous about it. Hopefully things will turn out well.

These last few months, I think I'm overspending on books. I practically bought most of the books I wouldn't buy last time (that costs > RM50). It's scary, I know. When you have more purchasing power, you tend to forget how to be prudent in spending.

It's Week 11 in college now. Things are only getting busier. I have to mark assignments, prepare revision exercises for the students. Students are not doing the assigned readings. Most are lazy bums, waiting to be fed.

I'm getting tired of the academic line. Currently consolidating my knowledge before I venture to the business world.

So, guys, how have all of you been?

Stray Dogs Exiled to Deserted Island

About 300 stray dogs from Pulau Ketam have been shipped to a deserted island. It is estimated that 3/4 of them have died. Although stray dogs can be a menace, but sending them off to an uninhabited island that is in the middle of a mangrove swamp, with no food supply, is just too cruel. Currently, they are a few people trying to rescue the dogs from the island. Any form of support is welcomed. Click on the poster to go to www.mycen.com.my/rescue.

Preparation for the New Semester and RSS Exam

Hey guys,

I will not be active for the next 2 weeks, the reasons being the start of the new semester and my upcoming RSS examinations. Please wish me luck and I hope that I will be uplifted after that period.

Thanks.

=)

Good bye, Spring, Good Bye, Satay

My dad had decided to give away our two cats, Satay and Spring, to his employee. He said his employee loves cats and he will take good care of them. We wanted to give them away because it was quite frustrating to have to deal with their feces everyday (other than that, they are just adorable). I will miss them really much~

Nokia N97

I was looking around for a mobile phone that would be suitable for my dad. I am thinking of getting a BlackBerry Curve or iPhone 3G in September. Along the way, I came across a mobile phone that is yet to be released by Nokia, N97. You can find more information about it here. It will be released during the first half of 2009 (not sure about Kuching), in the range of RM3,000 to RM4,000.

I am thinking of getting this for myself. Hehehehehe....

Swine Flu

I heard over the news that the swine (pig) flu in Mexico is getting serious. 81 have died from the flu. If it spreads over to the United States (Suspected cases), things will only get worse. This time, it is reported that the swine flu could have combined with bird flu and human flu. This shows that virus are beginning to adapt /evolve and wipe human out.

More news at Bloomberg.

A Visit to bing!

I guess most of you have heard about the opening of the 3rd branch of bing! Coffee. I actually planned to go for the opening at 3 pm but once I saw the confirmed attendance at their Facebook group (about 100+), I decided not to go.

After a while (about 3:30 pm), I thought I might as well drop by to have a look at the place. After all, it is just across my old college (NIIT). I didn't see a lot of people when I arrived (at 4pm). The place looks cozy (I am actually looking for a place where I can go and relax or read books). I ordered Iced Caramel Latte.

I sat a small corner (near the entrance) and also directly next to the bar. I certainly do recommend it as a place to relax either by yourself or with your friends.

For the 1st 100 members, they are giving away free membership cards. I got one! None for Sharon. Sorry, girl~ Members are entitled to 10% discount at any of bing!'s outlets.

Oh ya, one last thing. I saw a cute girl working at bing!. Nice day everyone (although I think it is going to rain soon)
